An Easy Guide To Stick To Your New Year Goals!

We are a few weeks into 2017 and some of us are finding it a little difficult to stick to our New Year goals and resolutions! Here is a simple guide and tips to keep us on track and make this year the first year of success with many years to follow!


Make Small Changes:

Sometimes we make a giant list of things to do and goals with the expectation that it'll happen over night! When it doesn't we feel discouraged and slowly give up on the idea of accomplishing these goals. If one of your goals is to get healthy and lose 20lbs,try setting a goal of,I want to go to the gym three times this week! That can be accomplished and checked off your weekly goal list! Another goal is to save money,try setting a goal of "I will not eat out this week" when that is checked off your weekly list that can keep $20-40 in your bank account!


Have Some Citrus:

Believe it or not having a glass of OJ or Lemonade can replenish self control! Our brains run on glucose,drinks that are artificially sweetened wont give our brain that jolt of energy like having fresh cup of orange juice and lemonade!


Outwit Your Inner Rebel:

Instead of being crazy strict on yourself with rules like "I'm never having sweets again" or "I'm never using my credit card again" try giving yourself some room to be sensible, "I only have sweets or dessert when I am at a fancy dinner."

A List of Good Things:

Write down 100 things you are proud of right down to the smallest thing as in "I get out of bed even when I don't want to " Start off your goals with feeling positive about yourself instead of feeling overwhelmed with your "NEW YOU GOALS."

Write Down Your Goals:

Writing your goals down is the best way to increase your success rate! Of course daily exercise or anything that gets your blood flowing to keep you awake and present is always a plus!
